Umrah is a Sunnah and Muslims perform Umrah throughout the year except from 5 days of the Hajj. Millions of Muslims travel to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to perform Umrah and the number is increasing every year. Umrah consists of Tawaf (circling the Ka’bah 7 times, having the Ka’bah on your left) and Sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwah 7 times; starting at Safa and ending at Marwah). It is compulsory for a pilgrim to be in a state of Ihram during Umrah. Women must be accompanied by their Mahram, who is their companion; can be brother, husband or father. Only the Approved Umrah Travels agents by Ministry can issue Umrah Visas.
